Virginia Farm Bureau Corporate Headquarters, Goochland County, Virginia

The Headquarters Facility for the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation and Affiliated Corporations, includes the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutural Insurance Company, one of VA's largest companies. This 4-story, 138,900 square foot building was designed for future expansion to 250,000 square feet. Portions of the construction documents were prepared in "packages" to allow a Fast Track construction schedule, meeting the Owner's occupancy needs and resulting in considerable cost savings. Also included in the facility is an Information Center and Board Room.

Oliver Hill Building, Capitol Square Complex, Richmond, Virginia

This project involved full architectural and engineering services for the Restoration, Renovation and Addition to the existing building, formerly known as the Finance Building, which is located adjacent to the Governor's Mansion and State Capitol Building on historic Capitol Square. The historic character of the existing building was restored and an additional 50,000 square feet was added.

Wells Fargo Bank Operations Center, Henrico County, Virginia

Ballou Justice Upton was the lead architect for this 412,000 square foot Operations Center, located in the Innsbrook Office Park in Henrico County, VA. The team worked closely with the end users to meet their specific needs, in keeping with the building space standards. The facility consists of data processing and office space with raised access flooring throughout. The project was "fast track" constructed - design was completed within four months.
