About

Ballou Justice Upton Architects, in association with EYP, worked on this project which included the Master Planning and Design for the New Construction and Renovations at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind Campus in Staunton, Virginia.

Through collaboration between the Owner and Design Team, an ongoing process was designed to identify program needs and place them in appropriate existing or new space, to include  the following:  Administrative Services; New Educational and Instructional Facilities; Student and Parent Support Services; Library Media Services; Technology Services; Health and Clinical Services; Student Center; Athelitc Fields/Playground; Security Services; and Parking & Pedestrian Circulation. Additionally, a new Dormitory for Deaf Students and Blind Students were designed and constructed.
