About

The Powhatan Fire Station is a one-story, 8,331 square foot facility that includes four drive-through apparatus bays, offices, two EMS bays, a Day Room/Dining Room, two Dorm Rooms, Locker Rooms, Toilets, Exercise Room, Storage Room and Repair Shop. The station is staffed by volunteers but is designated for future full-time fire fighter force. Construction consists of a pre-engineered metal building frame with a brick veneer exterior, and a standing seam metal roof on purlins. Floors are concrete slab on grade and the apparatus bays have an epoxy floor finish.
